SCHOOL NEWS: Tuition Support Announcement, Girl Scout Cookies, Lenten Fish Fry's, Ladies Bible Study, Catholic Charities Annual Dinner and Paraclete Catholic Book Store
Tuition Support Announcement: The deadline for 2nd round distribution of funds for Tuition Support for the 2014-2015, school term will be March 13, 2014. Applications and appropriate documents must be received by the end of the day March 13th. Contact Therese Hughes at (423) 624-4618 ext. 1026. (There was a correction made to the date).
The Brownies and Girl Scouts will be selling Girl Scout cookies after each mass on March 8th and March 9th.
FRIDAY EVENING LENTEN FISH FRYS
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The season of Lent is upon us and the Knights of Columbus have asked for our help providing dessert for the Friday Night Fish Frys. The Knights will donate half of the Fish Fry proceeds back to OLPH Home & School. Last year this amounted to $1,300.
Each class is asked to provide deserts for one Friday during Lent. Please deliver your dessert to the PLC by5:30PM on your assigned Friday.

March 21st Second Grade & Third Grade
March 28th Fourth Grade & Fifth Grade
April 4th Sixth Grade & Seventh Grade
April 11th Eighth Grade & Pre-K
Plan to attend Friday night Stations of the Cross at 5:30PM followed by fellowship and a delicious Fish Fry dinner in the PLC. The Knights will provide a pizza party to the class with the most attendance at the Fish Frys during Lent.

Ladies Bible Study will resume on Ash Wednesday, March 5th with, "Living the Eucharist." This is a six week study, that will prepare us for each up-coming Sunday during Lent. Join us as we use the Liturgy to focus on the Eucharist and enrich our Lenten journey. Meet in Holy Family Hall from 10-11:30 A.M. Nursery will be available on request. Catholic Charities of East Tennessee's 32nd Annual Dinner will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Chattanooga Hotel. Please join us in honoring Memorial Hospital for all the support they have provided to Catholic Charities over the years. There will be a parent meeting for those that are interested in running on the 3rd-5th grade track team. The meeting will be on March 10th at 3:15 P.M. in Mrs. Ingle's room. We will have all the information for the season and there will be papers to be filled out. Please make plans to attend.
Congratulations to the 5B basketball team they placed 2nd in the tournament. Way to go!! What a season!
Tennis practice will be on Sunday afternoons at the McCallie courts from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
If you are participating in Jump Rope for Heart the money is due on March 14th. We do have more forms in the office if you are still interested in participating.
All basketball players please turn in your uniforms by Friday, March 7th. Your uniforms must be in a bag with your name on the bag so we know how to identify who has turned it in.
