This document will be used as a weekly checklist and record keeping tool for the benefit of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School's physical plant. Items on this list will be organized into the following catergories.
High Priority/Urgent - Tasks or issues that pose an immediate threat to safety, security or operational functionality. These are critical items that require immediate attention to prevent accidents, damages, or down time. Ex. Fire hazards, electricial issues, equipment malfunction, wate leaks.
Medium Priority - Items that require attention realatively soon bu may not pose an immediate threat. These taks could affect efficiency or lead to potential issues if left unattended. Ex. routine equipment maintenance, minor leaks or damage, calibration and adjustments.
Low Priority - Tasks that are not urgent and may not impact safety or immediate functionality. These can be scheduled for later or addressed during regular maintenance cycles. Ex. cosmetic repairs, replacing non-critical light bulbs, upgrading non-essential software features
Preventive Maintenance - This category encompasses tasks designed to prevent potential issue before they arise. These tasks are typically scheduled and may have different levels of priority based on their inpact and over maintenance strategy. Ex. regular equipment inspections, lubrication and cleaning, and filter replacements.
Long-term Planning - These tasks involve strategic consideraton and might not be part of the immediate checklist bot should be included in long-term planning. Ex. major equipment upgrades, faculty expansion plannng, energy efficency improvments.
Remember, the prioritization of tasks may vary depending on specific context and industry. It is crucial to conduct risk assessmeents and consult with relevant stakeholders to ensure the maintenance checklist accurately reflects the priorities of the organization. Additionally, requlary reviewing and updaing the checklist based on changing needs and conditions is essential for effective maintenance management.
